Childersburg/Vincent Housing Authority currently accepts applications for public housing units. All eligible applications are placed on a community wide waiting list. We do not accept applications or participate in the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher program.

Anyone interested in applying for public housing is required to compete an application for housing assistance. Applications are accepted in person in the rental office located at 250 6th Avenue South West, Childersburg Alabama 35044. It takes approximately 30 minutes to complete the application process. Person’s with disabilities who require a reasonable accommodation in completing an application may call the Childersburg/Vincent Housing Authority at 256-378-6008.
